Do more exercise to increase your cholesterol levels

A recent study discovered that the cholesterol in our body seems to increase by the regular practice of exercise. Why do you bother about increasing cholesterol level in your body? Does it help reduce the risk of any disease?

The higher cholesterol levels were found to be reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Hence the need to increase the cholesterol in your body. The exercises you do have greater impact on the risk of disease in the people who have higher cholesterol and lesser body mass index. Higher body mass index implies obesity.

The important point to note here was that the study found that the duration and not frequency of the exercise had greater impact on the change in cholesterol levels in the body. Also the risk reduced was more in women than in men.

There is hdl and ldl. We need to lower ldl and increase hdl. Fortunately, for me, my levels remain good. It is my blood pressure which keeps raising my doctor's eyebrows. lol Exercise will help that too.
